If i was never served but a motion was filed do I have to respond? what happens If Idont?

Hopefully, the Court will not hear the motion unless proof of service was filed with the Court or unless the person filing the motion filed with the court a certificate of mailing saying that you were served.

If the Court believes that you were served, then they will rule on the motion, with or without your input.

It would probably be best to obtain a copy of the motion and prepare your written response, file it and argue the matter in court.
