Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

Out of State Child Support Garnishment

I operate a business in Las Vegas and I just received an order from the Orange County (California) Child Support Enforcement Division to withhold wages from one of my employees. Does a California withholding order in Nevada have validity? The employee tells me ''no'' but of course I won't take his word for it. Am I legally required to withhold in Nevada for a support order in California??

Federal law requires mandatory wage withholding between states. Yes, you have to honor the Order.
