Contested Life Insurance Benefits

If two people are on the policy that is being contested and one drops out can the other one still fight for the money without the other still being liable to the law suit?

It depends on the reason for dropping out. All parties are necessary parties. The law is generally that the losing party(ies) pay the costs of the winner. So yes, it is possible.

I would need to meet with you and review the policy, but if you are both equal beneficiaries it might be necessary to add the other person to the suit. If it goes by percentage, then perhaps not.
