Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Nevada

Setting up a website

I want to create a website called the wary traveler. It would cover the entire United States. It would gather information on bad gas station throughout the entire country. Towns where the local boys like to beat up outsiders or are extremly hostile to them. Corrupt politicans and sheriffs that steal people's cars on bullshit legal pretexts. This information would be for traveling salesmen, truck drivers, and anyone else who travels on the road. It would let them gather information and avoid bad situations. It would take awhile to gather the required information from potential clients. Once this was done it would be available for a fee to anyone signed up for the service. My question is can it be set up to avoid being sued by those who lose business because their business practices are underhanded or illegal. A friend of mine has advised me to set the server up in the Neatherlands to avoid that possibility. Your advise would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Setting up a website

WIth appropriate language on the site (TOU), and proper pre-launch planning, you can operate in the US with complete protection, as long as you don't knowingly slander someone or their business. Posting info from 3rd parties can be done without you exposing yourself to liability if you set up the site correctly./
