Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Nevada

I signed a lease agreement with my husband when we were still married. He moved out, then, we divorced.THe house is only in his name. He has since sent cruel texts, and has sent texts to my 13 yr old daughter (not hisdaughter) and pics of his new girlfriend. He also asks her who I am seeing. He has also sent my mother a letter, and me as well. Can I break my lease due to this? My 3 children are terrified of him, and live in fear that he will return.

Grounds for terminating a lease include harassment by the Landlord. As such, the cruel texts coinciding with the phone calls would be grounds for termination of the lease. In addition, you could get a temporary restraining order against your ex from any further communication with you and your children.
