Legal Question in Personal Injury in Nevada

Who is at fault???

I was shopping at a department store. They were undergoing a renovation being done by an outside, contracted company. I sustained an injury due to an item I tripped over near the construction, that was left there by one of the contracted employees. Do I sue the department store or the contracted company?

Both. However, they will allege comparative negligence if the hazard was open and obvious.
