Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Nevada

After a foreclosure, can the lender garnish my wages? Can they sieze my checking, savings or 401k account? The forclosed house is in Las Vegas, NV. I currently live and work in South Carolina. 80/20 Loan. 1st Mtg. - Bank Of America. 2nd Mortgage - Greentree Servicing.

In order to garnish your wages the lender has to get a judgment against you. Your checking and savings may be attached. Nevada has no anti-deficiency statute. The good news is that your 401k is exempt from execution of any judgment.
