Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Nevada

Right to personal property after moving out of house.

My sister recently broke up with her boyfriend and moved out of his house, with an agreement to meet at a later date to retrieve her personal possessions. He has now informed her that he refuses to release these items to her. What are her legal rights and options, please. Thank you.

She has the right to her stuff back, but she'll probably need court or policy intervention to get it back. Somestimes the policey will get involved, sometimes they will call it a civil matter and tell you to go go court. She needs to file a lawsuit for conversion, which can be done in small claims if value of the property is less than $5000.
