Sometimes the trust document addresses the issue of trustee fees. If it doesn't one of the beneficiaries may object. An analogy may be helpful. Attorneys may serve as paid administrators of an estate admitted to probate, but the same attorney or law firm may not collect both an administrator's fee and a legal fee. I think this analogy might be controlling if one of the beneficiaries objects and brought the issue before our local probate commissioner who handles trust issues. It is also possible that if the case came before the probate commissioner he would look at how much work you do wearing each hat and how much fee you are claiming for each job.
