Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Nevada
My father passed away in August of this year. Unfortunately, he passed away before I could get his will set up. I need to disperse the remaining funds in his bank account (around $1200.00) to my sister and I. Is there an easy way to do this?

You can do an Affidavit For Probate of these funds. If you go the the probate form website there is such a form to probate by affidavit amounts under 20k. You can also obtain this form from a Nevada form store, through an attorney or paralegal or other legal service provider. Once this Affidavit is notarized by the proper personal representative, which you appear to be as a child of the decedent, you should be good to go.
