Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Nevada

Father past and left no will per step-mother. Do I have any rights to his estate? And how do I get my own personal stuff. It has now been six months and she doesn't communicate with me.

Yes, if there is no will, then you are covered under the intestacy statutes. Step-mom gets one-half. If you have a sibliling, you each get 1/4. If no sibllings, then you get other half. If he died 6 mos. ago, I'm surprised that a probate has not been opened.

The only excpetion to the info. above, would be if everything was held in joint tenancy. If that was the case, then everything goes to the other joint tenant, upon his death. The other joint tenant, might have been your step-mom.

Need more info.
