Re: injury

Nevada is a right-to-work state which means that your job is not guaranteed. Workers' compensation does not provide you any rights to your job separate and apart from this, however, it does place certain obligations on the employer. For example if you have an accepted work comp claim and your treating doc places you on light duty the employer has the option of accommodating you by offering you light duty within the doc's restrictions, if the employer either can not or chooses not to offer light duty within the prescribed restrictions, you are then entitled to temporary total disability benefits from work comp for any period of disability of five or more days in a twenty day period.

Ultimately, there is a lot to all of this. I requires more information in order to better answer your question. If you would like to discuss further give me a call at 702.449.6010.
