Legal Question in Workers Comp in Nevada

OJI doctor appointments

I work for an airline and have been injured at work. The claim has been accepted, however any time I am required by the physician to attend appointments/physical therapy/follow ups/case reviews/etc... my employer requires me to do it on my own time. How is that proper practice? I was injured at work, they are already deducting the OJI time from my FMLA time and now in order to get healthy enough to return to work, I have to do it on my own time and my own dollar???

Re: OJI doctor appointments

Under Nevada law the employer is not required to give you time off to attend your doctor's appointments, however, usually reasonable arrangements can be made to accomodate everyone.
