If you are still on probation, you must inform your PPO of any change of address and/or living circumstances. You should not move out of state without placing your PPO on notice. Doing so would risk a probation violation. In NH, a violation of probation could expose you to the imposition of all or part of the sentence that could have been imposed for the underlying offense. Accordingly, the risks are high. This does not mean that there is not hope. It is not unsual for the probation office in NH to transfer your probation, itself, to another state. They typically consider a variety of factors in deciding whether to transfer your probation including whether your professional and family contacts exist in another state.
