Legal Question in Family Law in New Hampshire

My husband and I went to the courthouse and filed the Petition for Divorce ourselves. He had me convinced he had no money. I agreed to be friendly, file the papers ourselves and move on. I even filled out his Financials and he said he only had a truck. Yesterday, I found out that 3 days after we filed the Financials, he bought a 4 bedroom house on a lake and moved in another woman and her 3 kids. What can I do? I'm left here in a house he never finished. He took almost everything. I have no lawn equipment because he took that too so I can't even mow my grass He promised to take the 120 pound dog and he never came back for her. Can I stop the friendly divorce and get a lawyer now?

Absolutley you can amend the petition and do this the right way. Definitely get a lawyer. You are making decisions that will affect you the rest of your life so don't be foolish and try to do it yourself.
