Legal Question in Family Law in New Hampshire

In NH, is there a set amount of time a family court judge has to make a ruling in a change of custody case? Its been over 60 days and still nothing. The court says there still hasnt been a ruling made. Does this seem like a long time?

In the current situation, 60 days is not a long time to wait for a ruling in New Hampshire.

The time standards used to be considerably quicker, however budget cuts have eliminated many court staff and the courts can only process so many cases per day. By law, criminal matters have priority, so everything else gets to take a back seat.

Many courts do not have enough personnel to stay open full time and have either been closed or partially closed, to save money.
