Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New Hampshire

I had work done on my car. I paid for and picked up the car and all the work that was supposedly done was explained to me. I took the car to get a state inspection sticker and it failed. The inspector told me the work that I was told was done at the other company was not done at all. Is there any legal action I can take against the company?

Yes, you can bring a lawsuit under the consumer protection act and if you can show that the defendant's actions were willful and wanton, you may (I say may) get up to 3 times your actual damages plus attorney's fees.
