Legal Question in Employment Law in New Hampshire

Unfair practices and discrimination

HI there...

I am woman that works in the public school system as an administrator. I have been there for several years. In those years, I have researched and submitted information on the fact that administrators within the district are low paid in comparison to other districts in the area. That research was never given any attention or action.

In the meantime, administrators have come and gone. I have the third longest longevity within the district, though I am the lowest paid, the youngest, and the only woman. My SAU is basing this discrepency on the fact that I work at the elementary level versus the middle or high school level - though this hierarchy was never brought up until Spring 2006 - before this administrators hired for the same job made the same rate.

The administrators in this district do not have a union to negotiate salaries of benefits.

Most recently, they have hired another male administrator with no experience, and based on the currently adopted hierarchy and salary ranges, he has been offered a higher salary than what I currently receive.

Based on the minimal information given above, is it possible that I have a case on unfair labor practices and age and sexual discrimination?

Thank you.
