Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New Hampshire

I moved in with my ex husband in October. After moving in we my ex husband my self, and my son had a 3 way phone conversation with the landlord who said we could stay. he raised the rent to $850 a month to cover two additional people staying here and using water & elect. On December 3 he called and was very rude to me stating we were squating and tresspassing and we had to be out by the 31 of december. Tonight he called and said we had 24 hrs to be out. I currently pay half the rent and had verbal contracts with him to stay. It is winter and I have a young son. I am not on the lease and I think that was done on purpose. Do I have any recourse if he continues to call and harrass me before the 31rst?

you can ignore him for now. He cannot evict you without giving proper notice and getting a court order. You will have notice so that you can tell your side to the judge.
