Legal Question in Product Liability in New Hampshire

Latex Allergy Sufferer

I think that I might have a latex allergy. I have asthma and dermatitis on my hands after using latex gloves. I am worried about having a serious reaction to the latex. I have heard that people are suing the companies that make these gloves. What can I do about it?

Latex Allergy Legal Help

If you think that you may have an allergy to Latex then you should talk to your doctor quickly. Find out and do what is necessary to protect yourself. If you work in a hospital, then the hospital should b able to provide you with non-latex gloves. That may help.

Legally you have two claims. The first is that if you are exposed to latex at work and this causes your injuries then you can file a workers compensation claim. This should cover your medical costs and lost time at work if you cannot return.

The second is a products liability claim. We are involved in cases where people are trying to hold the makers of these products responsible for the allergy. Very recently one case has gone to trial in Minnesota and literally the jury is still out. If you have serioud injuries related to latex exposure then you should give me a call. 1-800-838-0800. I'll talk with you and explain some of your options.
