Breech of Contract
I entered into a deal with the defendant a seller's concession. Upon finalizing the sale, the defendant moved out of state and has yet to pay me this debt(close to $20,000). I have received the Writ of Summons but do not know the legal time frame allotted for the defendant to appear, so I can not sent this to the Sheriff for delivery. I am in the state of NH, whereas the defendant is in Maine. Any and all information would be helpful.

With this amount of money involved and two jurisdictions, don't try to do this yourself. Get a lawyer!
