Re: purchase and sale agreement

What does your agreement say? It is important to consult with an attorney before committing to the purchase of real estate. Typically, a buyer's attorney will address certain contingencies by additions to the standard agreement, which tends to favor the Seller. If you did not have an attorney, you may not have the provisions which would now prove useful.

More specifically, you should take the agreement and your particular problem or situation to an attorney as soon as possible. There are too many scenarios to discuss which might allow for a buyer to withdraw, but without knowing specific facts (which you should only reveal to your attorney, not on a public forum) it is not practical to answer.
