Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New Hampshire

My son's vehicle was stolen from Cambridge, MA and recovered in Gilford, NH a number of weeks ago. The police are holding the vehicle for "evidence" and said we shouldn't expect return before 4/1/11. Is there anything we can do? He needs the vehicle for work transportation.

Please advise

I'm sorry to hear of your situation. I suggest that you should contact your insurance carrier. You likely have some coverage for a substitute rental vehicle and the insurance carrier may be willing to talk with the police on your behalf.
