Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Hampshire

can an executor alter how a will is executed? If the will reads to be divided equally for three children. can the executor alter that?

The Executor has only the authority granted in the will and is under the supervision of the Probate Court. An Executor can not modify the terms of the will. Under very limited circumstances the Probate Court may alter the terms of the will.

No! Only a Court would have the authority to make alterations in how a Last Will and Testament is handled, and only upon Motion and Hearing.
