Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Hampshire

Husband's StepMother Hasn't Let Anyone See His Father's Will

My husband's father died about three months ago. His father was remarried but most of his belongings(such as the house, vehicle, checking and savings accounts)were solely in his name. He was remarried and his wife hasn't done anything about his will. She keeps telling his children the things they are suppose to get but she hasn't let them see the will and nothing is being done about reading the will. Supposibly ~ he made a new will stating his daughter and new wife were the executors but his father never had it noterized. So now his widow is stalling for time and has even gotten a lawyer for herself but won't tell the kids what is going on. My question is this can the children do anything about this and if they can what do they need to do? Like I said ~ they haven't been able to get any information about the will from his widow.

Whom ever has the possession of an original will is suppose to file it with the Probate Court within 30 days of death. There is no penalty for not doing so but perhaps you can call the Probate Court in the county where he lived or died and ask what you should do.
