My father lived with me for 24 years, he does not have a will and all his stuff is in my house. what would happen to that stuff

There is a statutory plan for division of assets when someone dies without a will. The answer to your question would require an examination of the family tree to determine who is entitled to inherit from Dad. If Mom died previously, Dad never remarried, and you are the only child, then you'd get all. However, if the facts change, the division of assets changes. It would be beneficial for you to meet with an attorney to examine all of the facts and circumstances so you may take proper legal steps to distribute Dad's assets.
