Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in New Jersey
my boyfriend recently moved into the condo that i rent. I have lived there for 7 months prior and never had any complaints. my boyfriend is african american and ever since he moved in there have been several false complaints made against us. my landlord received a letter in which the condo association refers to my boyfriend as "creepy" and they state they are afraid to leave their doors unlocked. they also make the assumption that he is the father of my 4 year old child and that he was recently released from prison. Is this racial discrimination and if so, do i have a law suit?
