Legal Question in Administrative Law in New Jersey

I didn't know that I wasn't allowed to play at the slots. I played once and that once I played, I was charged with Underage Gambling at Atlantic City. I just wanted to see how the slot machine worked and had no idea that it was illegal. What do I do? I am 19 years old and I've never had any legal issues.

You have not provided a statute citation so that I can look it up. I would think that you could try going to court and speaking to the prosecutor and ask if you could plead guilty to a municipal ordinance vaguely charging you with being disorderly. The problem is that I can not assess how serious your charge is without a citation. See a lawyer and take your complaint or summons with you. You can call me if you like.
