Legal Question in Administrative Law in New Jersey

If a couple got married and lived in a house owned and the deed was in the husbands name prior to the marriage and then separated and the wife lived in the house for sixteen years just being separated and now the ex-husband wants his house back. Does the ex-wife have any rights to the house or does she have to leave the house?

The basic rule is: house belongs to husband but wife is entitled to share in the appreciated value from the time of marriage to separation.
