Legal Question in Bankruptcy in New Jersey
last date to file bankruptcy under the current laws
when is the last date someone can file bankruptcy under the current laws,(may parents want to know about the bankruptcy)also my parents want to sell me their house for less then its valued for. there is no mortgage on the house. or should they do a quick deed to me instead since i think they have a judgement from the business they own. can you please tell me what would be the best way thanks

The effective date of the Bankruptcy Reform legislation is October 17, 2005.
