Legal Question in Bankruptcy in New Jersey

Didn't list a creditor

I filed in 01, chap 7, no asset. I just found out that there was a debt that wasn't listed. I didn't know about it, my ex had it, but I thought, and was told that it was closed in 99. I have read somewhere that all debt, even unlisted is discharged in a chap 7. Is this true? It isn't for a student loan or a tax lien.

Re: Didn't list a creditor

You are right. In new Jersey, even unlisted creditors are subject to the discharge. You have nothing to worry about.
