Legal Question in Business Law in New Jersey

i have a business and a customer paid by credit card and than is disputing the charges, this is for over $6,000. There is no question that he received my product and it was installed by myself and my crew. What can I do.

Welcome to the world of credit cards. You have to fight back. I would call up your processor and see if they will give you advice as to what you need to show to prove that the customer got the product, signed the contract, etc.

The procedures for resolving credit card disputes are controlled by the creditor. Check with your merchant service provider for help. The other attorneys are right on point. Your credit card merchant has a dispute resolution procedure. You will need to send them any evidence you have that the charge is valid, such as the invoice and any installation records, such as time cards of your workers working on the job, etc. Consult with a good business attorney in your area for specific advice.
