Legal Question in Business Law in New Jersey

Copyright Information

I have all the necessary licenses to run my homebased/online business for the area in which I live. I also have all the necessary tax identification numbers and am registered with the state as a DBA.

My business is a gift business for children with special needs. I provide information and, offer interactive games, and sell personalized gift boxes for the kids. I would like to have my information copyrighted. How can I do that, where do I go to do that, or who do I call?

Thank you.

Re: Copyright Information

You will probably need to deal with copyright issues as well as trademark and tradedress issues for items such as your packaging.

Re: Copyright Information

I recommend that you retain an attorney who specializes in copyright and trademark law who can help in these areas. There are many who advertise and I can recommend several I have worked with in the past.
