Legal Question in Business Law in New Jersey

I am a partner in a failing partnership of 46 persons. The partner involved in the managing wants to dissolve the partnership and expects a loss which she agreed to absorb herself.

I proposed ideas to resolve management issues and asked her to circulate to the other partners that I do not know. She did not and I asked her for their names and emails/addresses or TN and she said the privacy laws prohibit her from disclosing their info.

Is business discussion between partners in a partnership a violation of privacy laws?

Where can I read the rules for privacy laws between partners?

Thank you for your assistance.

Rose

You really need to get a lawyer involved. This sounds like a serious mess, and you can not just let it go. Privacy laws among partners? That makes no sense. There is a lot involved here, and you are not getting cooperation from the managing partner.

Why don't you give me a call, and we will discuss this in detail. The telephone discussion will be free of charge, and I will let you know what I believe I can do to assist you further.

Something does not sound right. You should be aware of the contact information for your own partners. Do you have a copy of your partnership agreement. You really need to contact an attorney ASAP to assist you in resolving this matter. When meeting, bring copies of any and all relevant documents you have, ncluding your partnership agreement. Please contact my office to schedule an appointment to discuss this matter further. My telephone number is 732-663-1500.
