Legal Question in Business Law in New Jersey

Here is my question:

My husband has a business DBA, and is thinking of purchasing land in the business name. Hypatherically, if something happens to my husband does the all the business debts become my debt since I am the wife?

It depends on exactly how the debt is taken. Is he incorporated or just acting under a dba.
