Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in New Jersey

I was accused,arrested ,indicted,tryed,and aquitted of a crime from thirty years ago.Police reopened case in 2004 and charged me with the death of my brother they believed people that was not involved with me or my family at that time.In 2004 the police inerviewed me one time and the other people they interviewed dozens of times.the prosecutors also tried to coerce a witness in to giving a false testimony.the witness also told me he would testify to the fact of them trying to coerce him and how the detectives also tried to make them give statements that weren't true and also that they planted jail house snitches to get a confession from me. the snitches had to much information.also when they interviewed me in 2004 they did not vidoe tape or audio tape my interview and they also throw away thier handwritten notes. i believe i was framed And it caused alot of uncalled for stress.

You may have a case for malicious prosecution and other remedies under state and federal law, however, it all depends on the facts of your case. A malicious prosecution case should involve more than just suing the prosecutor because they have the presumption of absolute prosecutorial immunity. You should consider a suit against the person or persons that may have "pushed the prosecutor to file charges" knowing that you were innocent.
