Legal Question in Technology Law in New Jersey

Hi,

My name is Sekhar. I started a new company named TechieStyle LLC. TechieStyle.com will provide job-search engine to public. Is there any legal research I need to do before I make it available to public? Are there laws restrict the type of use? Typical content for the site is resumes and job-description. Please let me know what information needed to guide me. I may also need a attorney to draft privacy-policies, terms-of-use etc. Thank you in advance.

Regards

Sekhar

New Jersey and many other States have licensing requirements for employment agencies. So, one thing that you need to do is to see if your business model is within the definition of such an agency. What your other obligations might be depends largly on what you are selling. Have a lawyer review your business model and advise you. My firm handles matters of this type. If I can be of further help to you, call or email.
