Legal Question in Constitutional Law in New Jersey

Forced company polygraph test -s it constitutional?

Suppose a company finds out that one of its employees has been stealing. However they do not know which employee it was. Therefore they decide to administer a polygraph test to all of their employees. Is this constitutional? Please explain why or why not? Thank you.

Most Constitutional restrictions only apply to the government, so private companies can legally do many things which the government is forbidden to do. There may be state or federal statutes which forbid the conduct you describe (especially if you are using the word "force" literally), but it would not be a Constitutional violation.
