Legal Question in Consumer Law in New Jersey

Hello, My name is Miranda

I don't know if consumer law is the correct one..

I recently took an entrance exam (Some think like MCATS, but it was acceptance to a college for Nursing Degree) at a corporate testing facility and the staff caused me to lose a considerable amount of time from my scheduled 4 hours, so unfortunately I was not able to finish. They accused me of breaking the rules, but I did nothing to break any rules that that they had written (They have a page of rules that us emailed to students prior to taking the exam and they make you read it at the facility the day of the exam). I contacted the college I was applying to and she asked me to file a complaint as there were many students that had similar issues with this company and she did not want to use them any more. Here is my question...Do I have a legal case against them? They caused me to fail the exam and I am not able to apply to this college?

The answer to your question may depend on the rules and what you were accused of doing. Additionally, you would have to show that if the school did not do what they did, you would have passed the test. If you would like to discuss this further, please contact me at 732-663-1500.

Thank you.
