Legal Question in Consumer Law in New Jersey

Our movers moved our belongings from a storage to our home in another state. they gave us the inventory list they made as they were loading our belongings. We have items that arent on the list and don't have items that are on the list. we have recieved only about 25% of our belongings. Things the repacked also were broke. The movers claim the have no clue where our belongings are and in the contract it said door to door service we found out that they subcontracted with another company and that company stopped in five other states. Do we have a case?
