Legal Question in Consumer Law in New Jersey

Vehicle Purchase

I recently leased a car and it was running fine. Just few days ago my car started to malfunction. My front wheel tires were skidding and the whole tire was crooked and out of place. I could not reverse or go forward. I towed the car to the dealership service ctr. Next day the mechanic called me and told me that a vital part of the car was missing. He said it was not installed at all. He ordered the part and will install it. This is pure negligence. I was wondering if a lawsuit is sensible in this case. I mean I almost got into a accident because the car wouldn't respond. Please advise.

Re: Vehicle Purchase

WHY would a suit be 'sensible'?

Were you hurt physically? Were you hurt financially? Were you given a rental/loaner car? Was the rtowing covered by the dealer?

Say you sue. It costs $50,000 with experts. WHAT ARE YOUR DAMAGES? I do much more plaintiff's work than defense, but come on... THINK. You only sue when you have damages. You have little to no damages here.
