Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New Jersey

My bank account was frozen after a court order they received because of information from a collection agency. I was never notified of any collections due. The only debt was a car repossession approximately three years ago. What are my recourses if any? Thank you

You can oppose the turnover of funds if you have good cause for it. I can tell you that the only way that this can happen is if you have a judgment against you. That might result if a complaint was filed in court and you ignored it.
