Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New Jersey

I had a corporation closed it in 7/2010,I have a line of credit i still owe to wachovia bank am I still liable to pay it back the sum I owe is around $11,000.00 ,I contacted them to try to make payments and maybe lower my interest rate I explained to them that i'm currently unemployed they have been very uncooperative they keep giving me the run around what can I do legally to resolve this problem thank you Jeff

If you signed personally on the loan, you are responsible for paying it back. If it was just in the name of the corporation with no personal guarantees, you won't.
