Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New Jersey

If a debt is older than 8 years can I be sued? Also, they have addressed my father not me twice. The first time 1 year ago the judge would hear the case. How shall I handle this?

If you or your father have been sued, you need to answer the complaint. Without knowing more, I cannot state with certainty that the statute of limitations has expired. Please contact my office at 732-663-1500 to discuss this matter in further detail.

Thank you.
