Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New Jersey

`family business

i loaned my sister $25,000 to start a business. I would be a silent partner. after a disagreement i left the business and demanded my money returned. About 2 years later her husband a i came to an agreement to pay about $800.00 a month, unfortunatly my sister wears the pants and said she would not be able to give that much it was suposed to be paid on a weekly basis, she said they would not be able to do it every week, i was fine with that, but checks come sometimes a month and a half or 2 months at a time and it's only 2-300.00 dollars, my question is what can i do to make her sign an agreement and a payment schadule.

Re: `family business

You can't force her to do anything. Your only option is to take her to court or forget about the whole thing.
