Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New Jersey

I co signed for someones bail and the paper i signed said 25000 with a 10 percent and the balance that was left was 1900 when i called to see how much was left after the payments that have been made they told me 3000 because the bail was 50,000 but that amount was not on the paper i co signed for, can they do that??

They can not do anything you did not agree to - CHECK YOUR PAPERWORK! What does it say? If your paperwork is different from what they are saying, go back to them - period! THINK people, THINK !!!
