If you cannot afford an attorney, then you need to go to the Court or to N L Courts On Line and obtain a kit which explains how to file an answer to the Complaint so that you do not go into Default. How much money are you being sued for, If it is $15,000.00 or less then the case should be in the Special Civil Part. If you contact the Court, one of the clerks should be able to provide with a kit that explains how to draft an Answer to a Complaint. If you are being sued for more money, it gets a little more complicated but you still need to file an Answer to the Complaint. begin by contacting the Court. Good luck (201)-894-9498
