Re: 2c:35-10a(4)

It means that you are charged with possession of marijuana, under fifty grams, in violation of the New Jersey criminal code. You face potential maximum penalties of $1,000.00 in fines, several hundred dollars in mandatory costs, 6 months in jail, and loss of your New Jersey driving priveleges for up to 2 years if you are found guilty. I would advise you to discuss your case with a lawyer before going to court. I am an attorney who has handled many cases similar to yours in various courts throughout New Jersey in the past. Please contact me to talk about your case - I never charge for simply talking to a person. Thank you.
