Re: aggrevated assualt

One reason could be that the person does not have a good attorney. There are numerous things that can be done at this point but it sometimes takes a good attorney to actually do them.

Apparently, someone died. Death changes many things, including being held in jail pending an investigation.

Re: aggrevated assualt

By this time the person in jail should have been assigned a public defender if he has not hired a private lawyer yet. The public defender should file for a bail reduction hearing. Obviously the police had enough evidence to arrest the person, but he is entitled to have a hearing on his bail. I am an attorney who has handled many cases similar to this one in various courts throughout New Jersey in the past. Please contact me to discuss this case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.

Sincerely yours, -Ronald Aronds, Esq.-
