The charges cited are incomplete. You can help him by hiring an attorney. You can't represent him, and I doubt he can represent himself unless the issue is very minor.

Your citations are not for the criminal code of New Jersey. Assuming you have recorded the citations correctly, they may be offenses alleged under a town ordinance.

If the charges are 2C:15-1a and 2C:5-2a then they are charges of Robbery and Conspiracy. These are both very serious charges. He definitely needs a lawyer if these are the charges against him, and the best way to help him is to hire a criminal defense lawyer. Please contact me to discuss this case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.
